San Antonio’s Top Influencers and How They Can Help Your Lifestyle Brand

Influencers have become an essential part of public relations strategy, not just for large brands, but for EVERY brand. In fact, the influencer industry is worth $5 to $10 billion according to Social Media Today which is even more amazing because the word itself was just added to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary in 2019. But, regardless of how new, its ‘influence’ should be taken seriously in helping your lifestyle brand to get noticed. Here’s how they can help, along with 10 of San Antonio’s top influencers.

How Influencers Can Help Your Brand

Early on, influencers were primarily celebrities. But celebrity endorsements can be hard to come by and can be expensive. But there are plenty of ‘regular people’ who have built a rapport with their followers as experts on specific topics or in specific categories through their blogs or social media posts, for example. As such they are seen more like trusted friends or peers with credible recommendations on products/services that they actually use. Influencers can help your lifestyle brand by:

  • Improving content strategy – With more avenues for fresh content that showcases your brand.
  • Improving brand awareness – Through word-of-mouth which still has high engagement even when advertising is too often tuned out.
  • Strengthens brand credibility – Because you’re associated with influencers your target audience trusts.
  • Creates hype – Influencers are walking-talking endorsements that know how to attract attention.
  • Boosts your SEO – With additional links to your targeted keywords.

San Antonio’s Top Influencers

Certainly, you want to find influencers with a strong following, but they don’t need millions to make an impact. Where to Wine and Dine your Valentine/Galentine Without Reservations

It’s almost 5pm, and you and your SO are still not sure if you want to look into each other’s eyes over the open fire and share a bottle of pinot noir or go out with the masses … but wait, you forgot to make reservations a month ago! Either that or you and your gal pals have no dates and want to wine and dine each other, and you have no reservations. Let us help.

Here are 5 things you can do tonight after 5pm without reservations… So go ahead, wine and dine your valentine.

1. Sukeban Sushi is taking first come first serve seating all night long, and it has a paired dinner with rosé. Who needs roses when you have sparkling bottles and sushi flowing like a river.

2. Joyride Texas, get your sweat on at both locations! You can check out Leah’s class at 5:30pm on Broadway or head over to the Alon location- there are 2 classes and your first class is free. Bring your sweetie and try something different together.

3. Kimura: Nothing says I love you like slurping some noodles with your lover. It's free parking today for Downtown Tuesday, so you can spend some extra dough on a specialty cocktail. May we suggest the Ginger Geisha? It’s incredible.

4. Drinks: Just say I love you with a liquid diet at The Last Word, which is hosting a dessert and cocktail tasting starting at 8pm.

5. Il Forno: Go for the pizza and stay for the cozy atmosphere without the hoopla.  You won’t find white tablecloths, but you will find some of the best pizza in town, and the fire will be blazing, that is for sure.

Top 5 Coffee Spots in San Antonio

top coffee spots in san antonio tx

As much as we love R office, sometimes we need a change in scenery. Here are five of the top coffee spots in San Antonio where we get our caffeine fix while also getting some serious work done.

local coffee

LOCAL COFFEE: Six locations, localcoffeesa.com

We R all about the keep it local vibe. Local Coffee owner, Robby Grubbs, was one of the first to bring good coffee to San Antonio, and obviously it has stuck since Local now has six locations. While each location has a different vibe and some spots are more crowded than others, the overall aesthetic is the same — comfy and cozy with varied seating options. Go here to enjoy locally roasted beans — Merit Roasting Co. — and to work to the hum of conversation, steaming milk and pulled espresso.

brown coffee

The Brown Coffee Co.
1800 Broadway, Ste 113, San Antonio, TX 78215

The Brown Coffee Co. opened in 2005 and definitely jump-started San Antonio’s third wave coffee scene. If you have time, be sure to chat with owner Aaron Blanco. He’s passionate about his coffee and will give you a great little mini lesson on his coffee beans, which he travels the world to find and then roasts in town. Brown’s scene is very minimalist, so if you’re easily distracted by your surroundings, this is the place to focus.

commonwealth coffeehouse and roastery

CommonWealth Coffeehouse & Bakery
118 Davis Ct, San Antonio, TX 78209

While the coffee here is good, we keep coming back for the food and ambiance. The inside of the place is beautiful and the croissants and other baked goods are to die for. Best part? If you’re having one of those work days where you have to bring your kid along, lots of sugary sweet French goodies to entice good behavior bribing. The back patio at CommonWealth is perfect for keeping a kid penned in and occupied — and if he’s naughty, you can always lock him in the chicken coop. Just kidding, sort of.

rosella coffee

Rosella Coffee
203 E Jones Ave #101, San Antonio, TX 78215

TV news anchor Charles Gonzalez opened up Rosella and named it after his two daughters, Olivia Rose and Ella Sofia. Adorable, right? Rosella roasts its own beans, which is always a plus, and the food menu is so good. We can never visit without also grabbing lunch, especially the avocado toast, which is a local favorite, even if we’ve just come from lunch. Best part: If you work a long day, you can reward yourself with a glass of wine or a beer from the small, curated menu, or meet friends at The Luxury, which is right next to Rosella and is one of R very favorite spots to eat and drink al fresco.

Revolucion Coffee + Juice

Revolucion Coffee + Juice
7959 Broadway Street, Ste # 500, San Antonio, TX 78209

Had a long weekend with too little sleep and maybe a bit too much booze? Revolucion will have you feeling back to normal in no time. Not only does the shop sell espresso drinks, it specializes in cold-pressed juice and lots of uber-healthy snacks. Plus, the vibe is very clean and fresh — perfect for focusing and centering yourself.
